“Raas, Garba & Dandiya” Folk dance on the beats of classical and divine folk songs of Gujarat, India at Wittelsbacherplatz, Munich. The purpose of the event is to show the blick of a traditional, cultural and Hindu religious festival called “Navaratri” to the people who walk on the path in the heart of Munich, Germany.

On behalf of Munich Gujarati Samaj e.V., we are pleased to invite you all for the upcoming event “Summer Meet 2019”.
The idea of this get together is to get to know each other and enjoy summer along with fun outdoor activities.
Please note that “Summer Meet 2019” is an open event and EVERYONE is gladly invited.
Venue: Rosengarten im Westpark, München
Date: Saturday – 13 July 2019
(Alternate date in case of bad weather: 20th July 2019)
Schedule:
10:30 to 11:00: Meet-up and information about Summer Meet and activities.
11:00 to 12:00: Warm Up games for all before lunch
12:00 to 13:30: Potluck
[Note: along with Food, you all are requested to bring Non- disposable plates, bowls, spoons
(🌍🌳 🍃 friendly initiative for reducing waste) & enough drinking Water for yourself ]
13:30 to 14:00: Highlight of past and upcoming MGS Events in 2019
14:00 to 16:00: Fun activities and Games for all (Kids & Adults)
16:00– End of the event.
[All games and activities will be conducted in teams. Winning team will get small appreciation gifts from MGS.]

होली है!!!!!
ફાગણ માસની પુનમના દિવસે લોકપ્રિય હિંદુ તહેવાર એટલે હોળી.
વર્ષનો આ સમય વસંત ઋતુના વધામણાનો સમય હોય છે. હોળીને ‘વસંતોત્સવ’ તરીકે પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે.
હોળીના દિવસે સાંજે ગામના પાદર કે મુખ્ય ચોક જેવા સ્થાન પર છાણા,લાકડાં ની હોળી પ્રગટાવવામાં આવે છે.લોકો પ્રગટાવેલ હોળીની પ્રદક્ષિણા કરે છે તેમજ શ્રીફળ વગેરે પવિત્ર મનાતી વસ્તુઓથી હોળીનું પૂજન કરે છે. ઉજવણીની રીતો અલગ હોઈ શકે એમ છતાં દરેકની ભાવના એક જ હોય છે, અને તે એ કે હોળી પ્રગટાવી આસુરી તત્વોનો નાશ કરવો અને દૈવી શક્તિઓનું સન્માન કરવું.
હોળીના બીજા દિવસે ધુળેટી મનાવાય છે. આ દિવસે સવારથી સૌ કોઇ નાના મોટા એકબીજા પર અબિલ,ગુલાલ તેમજ કેસુડાનાં રંગો છાંટી, રંગોની વર્ષામાં તરબોળ થઈને પોતાનો ઉત્સાહ અને આનંદ વ્યક્ત કરે છે.
તો ચાલો પેહલીવાર મ્યુનિચ શહેર ખાતે આપણે સૌ હોળી-ધુળેટી નો આ તહેવાર પરંપરાગત એક પરિવાર તરીકે ઉજવીયે!!!

15:00 – 17:00 — ધુળેટી/Dhuleti
બીઓ કલર આપવામાં આવશે.
બાળકો હોલિકા દહાનની તૈયારીમાં મદદ કરી શકે છે. રંગોળી બનાવવામાં અને પતાસા ના હાર બનાવવામાં બાળકો ને સામેલ કરવામાં માં આવશે.
17:00 – 18:00 — હોલિકા દહન/ Holika Dahan
હોળી પૂજા માટે ની સામગ્રી જેણે જે વાપરવી હોય તે સ્વઈચ્છા એ લાવી શકે છે.
(પાણી નું પાત્ર આપવા મા આવશે)
18:00 — જમણ/Dinner
નોંધ: જમવા માટે બધા એ પોત પોતા ની થાળી વાટકી ચમચી અને ગ્લાસ લઇ ને આવવા ની નમ્ર વિનંતી.
(પર્યાવરણ ને ધ્યાન મા રાખતા પ્લાસ્ટિક અને કાગળ નો બગાડ ના થાય તે કારણ થી આ નિર્ણય લેવામા આવ્યો છે.)
Note: you all are requested to bring your own plates, bowls, spoons and glasses. We are not providing or allowing any disposables.
